Note: For the purposes of this tutorial I've selected a watch that allows all three locations to be put on the dial and I've selected Indiana University as the school.
1.) Choose Your Logo
A.) This is the screen you will see when you begin to personalize your watch.
B.) Most schools have more than one logo to choose from. In the below picture you can see I.U. has several logos that are available.
C.) Notice how the last logo is cut off and there is an arrow next to it. This is because there are more logos available to choose from. Move your mouse over the arrow icon to see any additional logos.
D.) The red box around the logo stipulates the logo that is chosen to go on the watch dial. Notice how the logo on the dial has changed to the new selection.
E.) Once you have chosen the logo you want printed on the dial click on the "Continue to Next Step" button
2.) Add Text and Pick Location/Size
A.) Here we a have an assortment of options for further personalization such as three text fields and three logo placements and sizes (small, medium, and large).
B.) If your brain is cramping we apologize. We just want you to have as many options for making this you own one-of-a-kind watch. Let's take a closer look at the location and sizes available.
C.) In the above picture you can see the differences in each location. Locations 1 and 2 have the logo in the same position but note how the text goes to different spots on the dial. In location C the logo moves to the 9 o'clock position and the texts also moves to a new location. If we enter text for each location they would look like this (below picture):
D.) That covers the text fields let's move on to logo sizing. Most locations offer three sizes (small, medium, large) for the logo. If there isn't enough space there may be two or only one. Here's an example of the three different sizes:
E.) To choose the size of the logo simply click on the logo size bar and it will drop down all of the options available for that location.
F.) After you decide if you want any text on the dial, you'll then decide where you want the text and logo to go and then the size of the logo. Once you've got that all take care of click on the "Continue to Next Step" button.
3.) Engraving Your Watch
A.) Now it's time to finish personalizing your watch. Engraving is one of our most popular features customers choose. The picture below is what it will look like when you reach this step.
B.) The hardest part about this step is choosing your message. Due to different case-back sizes we limit the engraving message to 60 characters. To add engraving to the order simply enter you message in the text box and click "Update Preview Image".
C.) Once you get the right message you want engraved and are happy with the watch design click "Add to Cart" to begin the order review process. If you don't want engrave then simply click the "Skip & Add to Cart" button. Congratulations! If you've been following this tutorial while you were designing a watch you've finished the race.
