Ah yes, the familiar fall weekend that all college football fans look forward to: Homecoming. I am unsure as to how other schools celebrate this campus “holiday” but at Indiana it revolves solely around tailgating. Thousands of current students and graduates will gather in the Woodlawn fields directly across from our football stadium, beverage and griller on deck. Is there anything better than going back to your Alma Mater and reliving the college experience as much as possible? Oh that’s right, still being in college like me. Being that it is my last year I cannot help but be slightly depressed at the fact that this will be my last homecoming as an undergrad. It is moments like these that I will forever cherish as I pursue my own life dreams and goals after Indiana University. But even though it has to end at some point, the place we attend for those four (or more) years will stick with us forever. The weekends are a reminder of this. My school happens to not be the best in the football department but we happen to be pretty good in the tailgate field. The point is; Win or lose, graduate or undergrad, your college experience will live on forever. Whether it is winning national titles on the playing field or making new friends on the tailgate field, the memories will always be there. Oh and if you need something to commemorate those experiences, well we have ClassWatch.com for that. So good luck to your respective teams and better yet, long live tailgating season!
